There are two types of Anniversary Clocks. The original version had a mechanical wind-up mechanism, whereas contemporary Anniversary Clocks are battery operated. Another name for these clocks is 400 day clocks, since the mechanical mechanism could operate up to 400 days, or one anniversary, before needing to be rewound.
